About the Project
Clean lines, soft planting, and practical outdoor spaces—this contemporary home in The Acres in Pearl Valley Estate called for a garden that felt both modern and welcoming. CSA Landscaping delivered exactly that.
Working with the white walls, stone feature cladding, and mountain views, our team focused on layered planting, gravel courtyards, and seamless outdoor living areas that flow naturally from the house into the garden.
We created a refined modern design featuring:
- Soft silver and green foliage planting, including Helichrysum petiolare (Licorice Plant) and similar groundcovers that complement the architecture
- Mature and young olive trees (Olea europaea) that provide height, structure and classic Cape Winelands character
- Gravel courtyards and curved pathways for clean, low-maintenance circulation
- Layered borders with ornamental grasses, low evergreen shrubs and soft green border plants
- Practical outdoor living spaces linked to the pool and patio
- Clean lawn areas that create open, usable family space
The Result: The finished garden feels calm and contemporary. Soft silver foliage and olive trees soften the modern architecture, while the gravel courtyards and outdoor living zones make the whole property feel connected and inviting.
