About the Project
Clean white architecture, strong lines and mountain views — this contemporary home in The Acres, Pearl Valley, needed a front garden that felt modern, calm and welcoming. CSA Landscaping delivered a refined design that highlights the architecture while adding soft texture and structure.
Working with the white walls, black accents and open street frontage, our team focused on multi-stem olive trees, silver foliage planting and clean pathways that create a sophisticated first impression.
We created a refined modern design featuring:
- Multi-stem olive trees (Olea europaea) that provide strong structure and classic Cape Winelands character
- Soft silver foliage planting, including Helichrysum-type groundcovers that complement the white architecture
- Low ornamental grasses and textured perennials for movement and softness
- Clean gravel pathways and stepping-stone walkways for practical circulation
- Raised white planter walls that frame the planting beds
- Neat lawn areas that balance the hard landscaping and create an open, welcoming entrance
The Result: The finished garden feels crisp, elegant and thoroughly modern. The multi-stem olive trees anchor the design, while the silver foliage and clean pathways soften the contemporary architecture against the mountain backdrop.
