About the Project
Clean white architecture, strong lines and a beautiful multi-stem olive tree — this modern home in Val de Vie Estate needed a garden that felt both sophisticated and welcoming. CSA Landscaping delivered a refined design that highlights the architecture while adding soft texture and colour.
Working with the white walls, black accents and mountain backdrop, our team focused on a strong feature olive tree, complementary planting and practical pathways that guide visitors to the entrance and around the home
We created a refined modern design featuring:
- A striking multi-stem olive tree (Olea europaea) as the main feature in the front garden
- A mature cycad (Cycas) that adds bold structure and tropical contrast
- Nandina (Nandina domestica) with its colourful foliage and red berries for year-round interest
- Soft ornamental grasses and low groundcovers that soften the hard landscaping
- Clean stepping-stone and gravel pathways for practical circulation
- Sculptural elements and carefully placed planting beds that enhance the modern architecture
The Result: The finished garden feels elegant, balanced and thoroughly Val de Vie. The feature olive tree anchors the entrance, while the cycad, nandina and ornamental grasses add layers of texture and colour against the crisp white walls.
